A few fun facts

I love french press coffee, I have a large Buddha statue at home, my favorite sport is swimming because I have little hand eye coordination, not a huge fan of IPAs, I'm an aspiring foodie, I love sailing and have done so in 6 countries, I'm originally from Poland, and some day I'll make my own wine.

A look into my life

After a short stint in the world of hedge funds, I decided to pursue my passion in marketing. I joined a young startup in San Francisco and was lucky enough to go through two acquisitions within just a few years. I moved to England in 2013 to go back to school, but in all honesty I just wanted to do some quality European traveling. After 4 years working in the London startup scene, my partner and I decided to relocate to sunny Sydney, Australia.

I frequent startup and marketing events, and even more-so I frequent airports around the world in an attempt to "see all of everywhere". I love meeting new folks who are pursuing their passion for something.

Throughout the years I've been fortunate enough to work with some incredibly talented and smart people. I've developed many mentorship relationships that have entirely changed the course of my career. I wouldn't be where I am today without their help. I am passionate about giving back and helping others with the skills I've learned. My basic pitch: I drive value through acquisition marketing across a variety of mediums. I have a tender spot for working with startups, but I likewise enjoy working across hierarchies of larger organizations. When the fit is right - passion won't let me rest until the job is done.

I am passionate about cohort economics

Regardless of which company I work with, the same question always arises around how best to justify marketing spend. My sweet spot is coming in and applying cohort based LTV analysis to better guide marketing execution and budget management. That's exactly the approach we took at Swoon Editions, all the while improving our core metrics.

Marketing Bootcamp

The launchpad for me tackling marketing challenges began with work at Inflection. I stepped into a role that was digital focused across new partnership and business development opportunities. I was given a platform for trying new things, failing fast, and learning loads along the way. With time I gravitated towards partner and affiliate management, and took over the Archives.com in-house affiliate network. When Ancestry.com acquired us it was up to me to transition all 2000+ digital partners without fail. With the territory of public company status, I was handed a new artillery for additional expansion into entirely new markets. This period in my life taught me creative digital marketing expansion methodologies, as well as the value you'd create by treating everyone respectfully.

The reason I am so proud of my work with these brands is because initially I had a huge learning curve and I was able to overcome it. While some of our digital partners had their business as a hobby income, many worked with me to secure their primary source of income. I never missed a single affiliate payment and I jumped through multiple levels of constraints to build new integrations. Needless to say, this project has had a large impact on my career and put me on the path of talking on much more overarching marketing challenges in new verticals.
